"We need to be more grateful. It's one of the marks of strong character, to have a feeling of thanksgiving and gratitude for blessings that are ours. We need more of that spirit in our homes, in our daily associations, in church, everywhere. It's so easy to cultivate the spirit of appreciation." -Ezra Taft Benson

All Things Denote Proof of a Supreme Being

Today I'm grateful for simple truths in life.  I attended institute this afternoon and was taught a truth that I JUST LOVE!  I've loved this truth for so long but was reminded of it again today.

We were talking about Anti- Christs in the scriptures.  In particular we were talking about an anti-christ in The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, named Korihor.  Korihor spends a lot of time trying to prove that there isn't a Christ and even contradicts himself a time or two, but just the fact of how hard he tries and the amount of time that he spends trying to disprove christ is more proof that there is a christ.  If there were no Christ then why would he try so hard to get the people to not believe.  He knows there is a Christ and he doesn't want to admit it.  Then Alma tells Korihor how it is and in his spiel he includes the phrase "ALL THINGS DENOTE THAT THERE IS A GOD." How prophetic!

And isn't that so true?  I can't help but notice everyday the beauty in the world around me and love that my Heavenly Father has for me.  All things denote that there is a God- how true is that.  The simplicity of a flower, the universe, our world and the creations contained there in, sunsets, people, our bodies and their amazing functions and capabilities- all of it and more are proof that there is a god.  It never ceases to amaze me how blessed we truly are, god is truly looking out for us.  And so today I am grateful for these simple truths.

All Things Denote Proof of a Supreme Being.

Yea, All things denote that there is a GOD!
